Before You Start
Do I need a microphone?
For the voice exercises, yes — Eloqo asks for microphone access the first time you record. The quiet vocabulary games, Explain the Word and Upgrade the Sentence, work without it.
Does it work offline?
Yes — everything except the coach review. Every exercise and all its content ship inside the app, and your recording, transcription and scores are computed on the device, so a flight or a dead zone costs you nothing. Only the AI coach review needs a connection: record offline, then tap Get Coach Review when you're back. The one thing that downloads is narration audio — Shadowing's narrator and Reading Aloud's optional voice — and it's cached after the first play.
Which languages are supported?
You can practice speaking in English and Russian. The interface itself is translated into English, Russian and Spanish — the two are independent, so you can run Eloqo in Spanish while practicing English.
When can I install Eloqo?
Eloqo is in closed testing on Google Play right now, so the public listing is not open yet. You can see the app in action on the beta page, and write to us there if you'd like a tester invite. The iOS build is in progress and the App Store listing will appear here when it ships.
How do subscriptions work?
Through the app store. Android uses Google Play billing, so the exact price in your currency is shown before you subscribe, and you manage or cancel it in your Play account at any time.
What happens to my recordings?
They are used to produce your coach review and your practice history. You can delete an individual session from inside the app, or remove your whole account and its data from the Delete Account page.
Does this actually help?
With regular practice, yes. It works like a gym for your speech: a few focused minutes a day noticeably improves diction, pace and confidence. The scores exist so you can see the change rather than just feel it.
Your Next Take Starts in 30 Seconds
Open Eloqo, pick one exercise, and speak. That's the whole first session.
